More Pics around the Fort Pickens - Pensacola area

The Sun is shining brightly this morning but not so "hotly."  It's only getting to 50 degrees here today BUT warmer weather is expected to be present by Monday and we'll probably head further west.   We had breakfast, read our Bibles and had prayer together, and are now waiting for the Sun to warm things up a bit before we take a walk on some of the trails.

Meantime, here are some more pics with us in them.   I tried to add them to last night's blog but FireFox and Blogger weren't seeing "eye to eye" and I finally gave up.  So here goes....
Sheryl is trying to stay warm while we go for a walk.

I found out what's wrong with my upload process.   I need to make the pics that I'm using digitally smaller..  instead of 5.4 meg each, they need to be about 1.5 meg in order for Google Blogger to be able to upload them easily.  I hope they still look good on the Blog.

Yesterday the news reported the cuts to military budgets also included the Air Force Thunderbirds and the Navy's Blue Angels Demonstration Teams.   Pensacola is home base for The Blue Angels and their loss will be felt here.
The Blue Angels use FA-18's like the one pictured above.
These F-4's were used by the Blue Angels in a "earlier time."   They now hang in formation at the Naval Museum.  We've got a lot more pics, but I'll have to figure out how I want to share them without putting them on the Blog.

We like to watch the sun set over the water any time we get a chance.
Last night was no exception.  Our sunset was somebody elses "sunrise."  God is still on the throne.
